I decided to extend myself a little today- after all there's no point being on a bike and staying to the safe, familiar route.
I headed out along Mooloobar St, past Cargills and out into the country side. The plan was to go 15 minutes out and then come back. That took me out to the Culgoora Road turn off.
I was heartened by the wind blowing onto my face on the way out. It would be nice to have a tail wind to help me home. When I turned around I discovered that the wind was still on my face- one of the eternal mysteries of cycling.
I felt quite tired by my journey. Not surprising- when I looked it up on Google Maps the round trip is 6.6 km quite a bit more than the 4.5 I've been doing.
I'm enjoying the cycling. It's a good way to exercise and experience the environment.
